6/15/20 -Touch of Serenity Phase II Re-Opening: Expanding to New Clients with Referrals

This message is being sent to existing clients and to those not yet a part of my practice. My last communication to this broader community was sent at the end of April. All communications since the pandemic began can be found here.
Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy re-opened to existing clients on May 26th.  At this point, I’m ready to expand availability to new clients with referrals from either health care professionals or existing clients, and prenatal clients.
First-time clients must call 336.327.2915 to book your first session, and after that, online booking will be available for you (the link allows you to see how it works and current openings.  Existing clients can use this link).  Please remember that when I’m with clients, I cannot answer the phone. I will return your call by day’s end.  There are a few openings this week and more in the coming weeks and months.
If you are not new to massage, you will notice that there are changes, but one thing remains — my commitment to your safety and health.  You can review testimonials here.
“I felt safe and well cared for by Ruth. Always delightful and enjoyable experience. So glad to be back!!!”

-P.H. (post COVID re-opening)

NEW PROTOCOLS
When you book, you will receive a confirmation email containing important information.  Please read it in its entirety. It tells you what you will need to do before and upon arrival to your massage and what to expect from me. An excerpt can be found at the end of this message.
Protocols will be updated as new guidance and best practices continue to emerge.  I ask for your continued patience and compliance.
I’m hoping to see low-risk clients beginning around 1pm and save the mornings for clients in the high-risk* category.  Please take this into consideration when booking.  Please note that there may be some slight shifting in scheduling to accommodate the new protocols and I ask for your understanding and flexibility.
*The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines high-risk individuals as people 65 years or older and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions, including people who are immunocompromised or who have chronic lung disease, moderate-to-severe asthma, serious heart conditions, severe obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, or liver disease.
WAIT LIST
The waiting list is always an option!  If you can’t find a desired time on my schedule, please ask to be placed on the waiting list.  Call or text 336.327.2915 or email me at info@TouchOfSerenityNC.com using “Waiting List” as the subject line.  Please include your name, how to get in touch with you, the date, preferred time, and the type and length of massage that you are interested in.  If there’s a cancellation, I’ll call or text you as soon as I can.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about these revised steps or anything else to keep you, and every client, safe in my practice.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth

CHANGES IN PROTOCOL PRIOR TO AND UPON YOUR ARRIVAL FOR YOUR MASSAGE:
Before Arriving:
1. Family and friends are not allowed to accompany you inside the building, unless the client requires a legal guardian/parent.
2. Wear a clean face mask to our office.  The mask must be worn from the time you enter the facility until you leave.  Anyone with longer hair should have it tied back or up and away from your face.
3. If you’d like more than a sheet covering you during your massage, bring a CLEAN blanket for your session (twin size will work), although there can be heat on the table.
4. Bring and wear as little as you can with you to your session.  The waiting and treatment rooms have been decluttered of items that might require continuous disinfecting (e.g, magazines, pillows, candies).
5. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.First-time clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a Health History form and Client Intake Form.  All clients, new and returning must complete a Coronavirus Liability Release Form.  All forms are available at: https://touchofserenitync.com/wp/linksresources/ if you’d like to complete them in advance.Upon Arrival:
1. As soon as you enter the office, head straight to the restroom (around the corner from the waiting area) and wash your hands using the WHO instructions posted in the bathrooms which includes wiping down the surfaces that you touched.  Use your paper towel to touch the door handles and light switches.  Please return to the waiting area and wait to be greeted.
2. Once greeted, your temperature via a touch-less thermometer will be taken and you will be asked to complete any forms including the Coronavirus Liability Release Form.
3. Please minimize your “touches” in the waiting and treatment rooms.
4. As always, sessions will be customized to suit what you are sharing with your therapist on any given visit.
5. In the treatment room, please place any valuables in your pockets or bag.  Use the chair you sat in for all of your belongings.  Please turn off or completely mute (including vibration) your phone.
During the Session:
1. After the initial intake, talking will be limited to communication about pressure, warmth, and comfort while in the enclosed space of the treatment room. (I know!)
2. Because a face mask is worn for the duration of the massage, safe face massage is not possible and therefore prohibited at this time.
3. Intra-oral massage is prohibited at this time because it increases the risk of COVID-19 exposure. After Your Session:
1. Once your treatment ends and you complete rescheduling and payment, use the hand sanitizer one last time.  Please do not linger in the office.  I see one client at a time, and this way you should avoid contact with anyone else.
2. If you show signs of any infections or test positive for any communicable disease, including COVID-19, within two weeks of your massage, you must notify me immediately. What to Expect From Me:
1. I will be wearing a clean face mask and face shield.  I may wear nitrile or latex gloves depending on the treatment.  My hair will be tied back.  I will be changing scrubs after each session.
2. All surfaces and equipment will have been cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival.  Sheets and pillowcases will have been changed.  Washable protective coverings between the sheets and the massage table, face cradle and pillows will also be cleaned.
3. Other than massaging, there will be no other physical contact.
Note:  These protocols are in compliance with NC Executive Order 141 that outlines the guidelines for beginning Phase 2 for business operations including massage therapists (we are included under “Personal Care, Grooming, and Tattoo Businesses”) as well as the guidance provided by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) for massage, the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (NCBMBT), and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
I include the links above, not because I expect you to read them all, rather to offer complete transparency in why I’m implementing these protocols.

6/3/20 – Openings, Gratitude and Updates from Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy

If you’ve been reading my past messagessince the pandemic started, you already know that I re-opened Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy last Tuesday, May 26th.
It’s been wonderful to return to massaging! People have been touch-deprived and their bodies are in great need of stress-reduction, addressing muscle tension, and overall healing.
OPENINGS
I have two openings this week for 60 minute massages:  Thursday, June 4 at 1pm and Friday, June 5 at 10:30 am.   To book now, visit www.TouchOfSerenityNC.com.  Select Ruth as your provider, then select any 60 minute service. If you try to book it and it doesn’t show up, the opening has already been filled, although you can text me or book another time and day.
Remember that I’m seeing only existing clients through mid-June.  After that I’ll be opening up to new clients and those with prescriptions for massage or referrals from existing clients will receive priority.
High-risk clients* should book morning appointments while others should aim for the after 1pm.  If you need help with this, please call.  Your understanding and flexibility is appreciated if I need to shift some appointments to accommodate this.
REFLECTIONS ON THE PAST WORKWEEK
Thank you to every client within the past week who graciously complied with all of the latest protocols and your generosity.
I was particularly pleased to receive validation for the new protocols by someone who handles COVID training at a local hospital.  While each of us has an added role, I feel safe practicing massage and the clients who have come in seem to feel similarly.
UPDATES TO PROTOCOLS
As you rebook, please continue to read your confirmation email in its entiretyas they may change.  I’ll continue to update the protocols as new guidance and best practices continue to emerge.  I ask for your continued patience and compliance.  Here are some of the latest learnings:
  1. Arriving any earlier than the 10 minutes prior to your start time will interrupt the disinfecting process.  Please wait in your car or outside if you arrive any earlier than that.
  2. Bring water with you and drink it once you leave the building so you don’t have to remove your mask while inside.
  3. Most have had no issues wearing a mask while laying prone (face down) on the massage table.  However, if you need an extra minute to get comfortable or need me to adjust the face cradle, please ask for help.  Your mask must stay on from the time you enter the building until you leave.
  4. Due to the intensive cleaning that occurs between clients, I’m temporarily restricting massage session lengths to either 60, 75, or 90 minutes.  Anyone with a package for other time lengths will need to contact me to book your massage.
WAIT LIST
The waiting list is still an option!  If you can’t find a desired time on my schedule or if you are a high-risk client and can’t find a morning session time, please ask to be placed on the waiting list. Please note that when I’m with clients I cannot answer the phone.
Thank you for being my client.
In peace and with gratitude,
Ruth

5/22/20 – Who Wants A Massage? Touch of Serenity is Re-Opening with Enhanced Safety Protocols

While many things have changed over the last few months, one thing has remained the same — my commitment to your safety and health.
By its very nature, massage requires skin-to-skin contact and, as you know, infection control has always been a top priority for my practice.  As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with some new requirements as I begin to re-open.
Please read this entire message to learn about the important new protocols and plans to re-open.
NEW PROTOCOLS
When you rebook, you will notice that there are new confirmation emails.  Please read them in their entirety.  The information tells you what you will need to do before and upon arrival to your massage and what to expect from me.  An excerpt can be found at the bottom of this message.

I include the links above, not because I expect you to read them all, rather to offer complete transparency in why I’m implementing these protocols.
Protocols will be updated as new guidance and best practices continue to emerge.  I ask for your continued patience and compliance.
RE-OPENING
I will be re-opening Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy to existing clients on Tuesday, May 26th.  At least initially, the number of clients will be limited each day to properly implement the new protocols outlined below.
I’m hoping to see low-risk clients beginning around 1pm and save the mornings for clients in the high-risk* category.  Please take this into consideration when booking.
I will begin accepting new client bookings in mid-June.  This gives you a couple of weeks to get your massage(s) scheduled. There may be some shifting that happens to accommodate the new protocols and I ask for your understanding and flexibility.

I’m eager to see you again and happy to answer any questions you may have about these revised steps to keep you, and every client, safe in my practice.  Suggestions and feedback are always welcomed.
Thank you for being my client.  I value your trust and loyalty. Welcoming you back to a safe, therapeutic touch environment is something I very much look forward to doing.
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth

4/23/20 – NC Executive Order 135 – Stay-At-Home Order Extended to May 8

Yesterday Governor Roy Cooper issued Executive Order 135 extending the stay-at-home order through May 8th.  This order supersedes Executive Order 120 that specifically mentioned Massage Therapists.
Governor Cooper also implemented a phased-in approach to re-open the state to business.  It appears that Massage Therapists are covered in, although not specifically mentioned, in Phase II, which will be at least 2-3 weeks after Phase I.  So, it looks like the earliest I will be able to open is around May 23rd or 30th.
I am hopeful that all of the additional safety precautions mentioned in my last email will be in place by the time Phase II begins, as some of the new supplies have been backordered as everyone scrambles for similar items. However, I will not reopen until I can fully implement all of the safety measures that I feel are necessary to ethically treat clients.
Cancellation emails to those scheduled through May 23rd will be sent later today. Again, while I continue to be saddened by having to do this, I believe it is the right thing to do for your and my health and safety.
I continue to remain very positive and optimistic even though this disease has directly impacted my family.  I have been heartened to see, and even participate in some of, the wonderful and ingenious ways people are reaching out in service to others and to seek joy.
If you are struggling to remain positive, please, please do not suffer in silence. You are not alone and there is help.  If nothing else, please call or text me  — 336.327.2915 — and I will try to put you in touch with the right resource.
As always, take what you like from this email and leave the rest!
I look forward to being back in touch (pun intended) just as soon as it’s safe and legal to do so.
In the meantime, I will be available via phone or text if you have questions or concerns.  Gift certificate orders will still be accepted via phone, email or text.
Again, thank you to those who have reached out to me in various ways — your support and acknowledgement are just one of the many positives I mention above.  Thank you!
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth Spaulding

4/20/20:   Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy Touching Base

While we all await notice from our Governor on whether or not Executive Order 120 will be extended or not, I am considering how the effects of the pandemic should change my practice going forward.
I am planning to re-open once our local curve is flattened and testing becomes much more available.  As of now, I do not know when that will be.  While I have not yet canceled massages scheduled for later this month and into May, there is a high likelihood that I may need to postpone those sessions.  I ask for your continued patience.
The following is broken down into “What I Will Continue To Do,” “New Safety and Precautionary Measures,” and “What I Will Ask Of  You.”  This all continues to be subject to change as new information and guidance becomes available.
What I Will Continue To Do:
  • Wash my hands up to my elbows before and after every client session, change all the massage table sheets and towels, and clean lotion/oil bottles.
  • Between each client, I will sanitize the treatment room, bathroom and waiting areas including chairs, surfaces, doorknobs, switches, faucets and levers as well as pens, clipboards, payment screens, etc.  Please be patient if there are slight delays because of this.
  • See only one client at a time which greatly reduces your risk.  Bringing relief, relaxation, and a touch of serenity…one client at a time.
New Safety and Precautionary Measures:
  • Adding a HEPA air purifier that eliminates dust mites, bacteria, fungi, virus, pollen, allergens of domestic animals and other microorganisms from the air.
  • Using washable protective massage table and face cradle covers that are used over table warmers and fleece allowing for maximum client comfort yet can be sanitized between clients.
  • Extending the time between client sessions from 15 minutes to 30 minutes to allow for a more thorough cleaning of surfaces, massage equipment and supplies.
  • I will be wearing a plastic face shield.
  • Checking your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer, until further notice.
What I Will Be Asking of You:
  • Sign a Liability Release Form (click here for a sample) before your session begins.
  • BYOB — Bring Your Own Blanket:  If you would like more than a sheet covering you, you must provide your own CLEAN blanket.
  • I’m looking into a contactless payment option, but in the meantime, please feel free to bring your own stylus to complete the payment screen.
  • Wear a face mask, if you prefer.
  • Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled massage time to comply with the above.
Please Continue To:
  • Go straight to the bathroom upon arrival and prior to sitting in the waiting area to wash your hands with soap and water, as prescribed by the WHO techniques that are posted, including wiping down the surfaces you touched.
  • Limit your “touches” — use the hooks for your clothes and place all personal belongings in your purse or a pocket.
  • Reschedule your massage if you are experiencing any cold/flu/virus symptoms. There will be no penalty for cancellations and my 24-hour cancellation policy has been temporarily suspended, although as much notice as possible is greatly appreciated.  No shows will be charged in full.
As always, I appreciate my clients more than words can express. I’m especially grateful for those of you on the front-lines and continuing to perform essential work in our community.
Please continue to find reasons to be kind, compassionate, and helpful to yourself and others.  Thanks to those of you who have taken the time to reach out and share with me what’s been going on in your life and the things you’ve been doing in service to others.  I have been assisting PPEopleBrigade-gsonc in making face shields for front-line medical workers.
I’m open to your feedback and suggestions to any and all of this.

  • Please send additional ideas and constructive suggestions/feedback for what will make you feel comfortable about returning to Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy.  Simply reply to this email.
Your PARTNER in Health.  Stay safe and continue to take all of this one day at a time!
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth Spaulding

Gift Certificate HolidayP.S. Gift Certificates are still available, and a great alternative.
Until we can meet in person again, any time that you are in the vicinity of other people with whom you are not living, remember to observe the following precautions:
  1. Maintain the physical distance of six feet between individuals.
  2. When you encounter others, facial covering may decrease your exposure to virus if you avoid touching the front of the mask.
  3. Behave as if you are infectious, because you could have an asymptomatic case.
  4. Wash your hands frequently since soap kills the virus after 20 seconds of exposure. Depend on hand gel only until you have an opportunity to wash your hands. Avoid touching your face after touching possibly contaminated surfaces.
  5. Quarantine yourself if you have a fever, body aches, cough, or just feel ill, and contact a primary care practice to determine if you need medical evaluation.
  6. If you have unusual shortness of breath, seek medical evaluation immediately.
  7. Any necessary nose or throat clearing, sneezing or coughing should be done in your sleeve after trying to distance yourself from others.

3/24/20: NC Executive Order 120 – An Update from Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy

Yesterday Governor Roy Cooper issued Executive Order 120which orders that “because the ability to practice the social distancing necessary to reasonably protect against COVID-19 is significantly reduced in certain establishments where individuals are in close proximity for extended periods of time, or service personnel are in direct contact with clients”, massage establishments and massage therapists [among other businesses] are to close as of 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2020.   This Order is in effect for 30 days unless rescinded or superseded by another Executive Order.
As you know, I voluntarily closed my practice on March 18 and will gratefully comply with the Order to help minimize the spread of this highly contagious virus.  I will now be issuing cancellation emails to those scheduled over the next 30 days.
I truly regret the interruption in therapy to my clients and send out my sincere hopes that all of us remain healthy during this most challenging and unprecedented time.
A huge thank you to my clients and those in the community who are still working in vital fields to keep us all safe and healthy. Whether it’s our healthcare professionals, first responders, grocery store workers, or educators, I am indebted to you for your ongoing service.
For those who may now be out of work in industries impacted by this disease, I will continue to hold you in my thoughts and prayers and hope that you are getting the support and services you need.  There are resources available to you so please take advantage of them.
I will repeat what I said in a previous communication:  With so much we can’t control right now, the one thing we can control is our attitude.  Try to stay positive and limit your news “overdosing”.  If you are struggling, please, please reach out for help and support.
If you know of someone who might be struggling, please don’t wait for a cry for help and stay in contact (of course, not physically) to offer love, support and hope.  Someone once told me a long time ago, “don’t confuse temporary for permanent,” which is hard to do when you’re in the middle of a difficult situation.  Remember that this too shall pass.
Find ways to be of service in safe ways and try to maintain a routine that includes ways to protect your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
I learned in Brené Brown’s recent podcast (posted on my Touch of Serenity FaceBook page), we are in a collective “FFT,” which stands for F*&#$% First Time (her phrase, not mine).  In fact, we are most likely experiencing multiple layers of “firsts,” which can make us feel very uncomfortable, awkward and vulnerable.  So let’s be patient with ourselves and others because when you’re learning something for the first time, it’s usually not pretty and we will make mistakes.
I’m going to continue to try and find hopeful, positive, vetted, and useful information from trusted sources to share via Facebook and periodic, but hopefully not bothersome, emails like this.  Feel free to share with me anything you might think is useful to pass along.  As always, take what you like and leave the rest!
I look forward to being back in touch (pun intended) just as soon as it’s safe and legal to do so.
In the meantime, I will be available via phone or text if you have questions or concerns.  Gift certificate orders will still be accepted via phone, email or text.
To those who have reached out to me in various ways, your support makes my heart sing.  Thank you!
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth Spaulding

3/17/20: An Important Message from Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy Concerning COVID-19

In light of the latest local and national closings and recommendations surrounding the coronavirus and COVID-19, I cannot in good conscience continue to offer massage services at this time.
Effective immediately, I am closing Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy and canceling all scheduled sessions between March 18 and at least through March 31.  I will continue to stay informed and evaluate when it is safe to reopen.
This decision was not made lightly and it saddens me greatly; I started my practice because I felt “called” to serve others through therapeutic massage.  I would not want that service to ever jeopardize another’s well-being and health even if done unintentionally.  Because the virus is contagious for days before symptoms develop, a “healthy” client (or therapist) might not be.
Everyone is being asked to do their part to minimize the spread of this highly infectious disease.
I will be available via phone or text if you have questions or concerns.  Gift certificate orders will still be accepted via phone, email or text. In the meantime, I will be further deep cleaning my office to ensure it is ready when the time comes to re-open.
I appreciate your support and patience during these challenging times.  My heart is with you and your families and my prayers are for you and your loved ones to remain healthy and safe.
In wellness and with gratitude,
Ruth Spaulding

3/16/20: Coronavirus COVID-19 Safety and Prevention from Touch of Serenity Massage Therapy

Touch of Serenity has always committed to create an environment of health, wellness, safety, and compassion with my clients.  And now is no different.
In light of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, here is what I am doing and what I am asking of you.  Please note all of this is subject to change as new information and guidance becomes available to us all.
What I Am Doing:
  • Continuing to wash my hands up to my elbows before and after every client session, changing all the massage table sheets and towels, and washing lotion/oil bottles.
  • Between each client, I am sanitizing the entire treatment room, bathroom and waiting areas including chairs, surfaces, doorknobs, switches, faucets and levers as well as pens, clipboards, payment screens, etc.  Please be patient if there are slight delays because of this.
  • Remember that I see only one client at a time so this greatly reduces your risk.  Bringing relief, relaxation, and a touch of serenity…one client at a time.
What I Am Asking of You:
  • If you are healthy, not been traveling within the past two weeks, and not engaged in potentially high-exposure activities I hope to see you.
  • Upon arrival and prior to sitting in the waiting area, please go straight to the bathroom and wash your hands with soap and water, as prescribed by the WHO techniques that are posted, including wiping down the surfaces you touched.
  • Please limit your “touches” — use the hooks for your clothes and place all personal belongings in your purse or a pocket.
  • If you are experiencing any cold/flu/virus symptoms, please reschedule your massage for when you are healthy. There will be no penalty for cancellations and my 24-hour cancellation policy has been temporarily suspended, although as much notice as possible is greatly appreciated. No shows will be charged in full.
  • Feel free to bring your own CLEAN sheets and blankets if you prefer, but please let me know in advance.

What Else You and I Can Do:

  • Maintain social distancing (3-6 feet from others).
  • Find reasons to be kind, compassionate, and helpful to yourself and others.
  • If you are finding extra time on your hands especially with children, there are many creative activities being posted of things to do.
  • Whether you can make your massage or not, given this unprecedented time of uncertainty, please find additional ways to help yourself relax including: at-home yoga/stretching, meditating/praying, virtual visits to stay connected, volunteering, getting out in nature, looking for things that make you smile, creating a gratitude list, and not over-indulging in unhealthy activities.
  • Stay informed using trusted sources (e.g., CDC), but avoid “news overdosing” that can really affect your mood.
As always, I appreciate my clients more than words can express. I believe that the positive benefits of massage for stress-relief, boosting your immune system, pain management and overall well-being currently outweigh the risks, if we all do our part.
Your PARTNER in Health.  Stay safe and let’s take all of this one day at a time!
In wellness and with gratitude,

3/24/18:  Two new studies on the positive effects of massage:
Massage Reduces Cancer-Related Fatigue
(published in Body Sense Magazine Spring 2018)
A recent study published in the medical journal Cancer found that Swedish massage therapy, delivered over the course of six weeks to breast cancer patients, provided a significant reduction in their cancer-related fatigue (CRF). CRF is a persistent, exhausting condition affecting approximately one-third of cancer survivors. The study, conducted by researchers at Emory University in Atlanta, enrolled 66 female stage 0–III post-treatment breast cancer survivors who had received surgery and radiation and/or chemotherapy/chemo-prevention. The participants, who were unfamiliar with massage therapy, were given a weekly 45-minute Swedish massage by licensed massage therapists over the course of six weeks. The recipients reported they experienced “clinically meaningful” improvement in their CRF as a result of the massage therapy. While still in early-trial phase, this research has significant implications for cancer patients going forward. For more information, read the full study at www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29044466.

Massage Alleviates Muscle Soreness After Exercise
(published in Body Sense Magazine Winter 2017)
A recent report published in Frontiers in Physiology found that massage therapy decreases muscle soreness after strenuous exercise. In a systematic review and metaanalysis, researchers evaluated the effects of massage therapy on alleviating delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and muscle performance after strenuous exercise.
Researchers found that muscle soreness decreased significantly for  participants who received massage intervention after heavy exercise compared with those who had no intervention. Massage therapy also improved muscle maximal isometric force and peak torque.
The findings suggest that massage therapy after strenuous exercise could be effective for alleviating DOMS and improving muscle performance. To read the full study, go to www.ncbi.nlm.nih. gov/pmc/articles/PMC5623674.

3/1/18: Are you a folded cashew or a table?

To hip hinge:
1. Place your feet about 12 inches apart.

2. Keep your back straight.

3. As you bend your knees, allow your pubic bone to move backward.

4. Fold over by allowing your pubic bone to slide through your legs, down and back.

1/3/18:  Happiest and Healthiest of New Years to all.  If you’re looking to start your new year off on a healthy note — take the 30 day Plank Challenge!  I will also post on Facebook. I completed it on December 26th and I do feel stronger my core!  It was the perfect antidote to the holidays and helped spur on more healthy eating choices (ok, I indulged a little, but not as much as in previous years).  I highly recommend it and encourage you to use an accountability partner to help you stick with it!

1/1/18: Effective today, there are some slight price increases to some of the longer sessions, some services, and a few of the packages.  Please note them when booking.  If you are currently in an existing package, no additional fee will be charged until you purchase another package.  This is the first price increase since my business started over 6 years ago.
